The WSS (WFP self-service) aim was to re-design one of the internal platforms of the World Food Programme international agency.

The project developed through: analysis of the architecture information of the previous platform, focus on the critical issues in the functionalities and production with the developers of the new WSS platform.

As a starting point, in the critical issues section, screenshots were used in order to show some critical aspects of the previous platform with a specific focus on the following elements:

Navigation Menu
Search Bar
Side information area
Requests status

We designed different mockup versions for the client. The new proposals consider all types of users in order to create a coherent and intuitive navigation experience. The whole structure has been simplified and common elements clustered and placed in the same area. The navigation menu contains all the important sections a user would need while using the platform. The search tool has new criteria allowing users to search for tags, names, topics, and links.

Each element and screen was represented in prototyping and connected to each other through wireframes and flows.

Each asset and component was listed in a styleguide and library related to the internal platform.

During the development of the project was decided to continue the collaboration to redesign every element, screen and individual form of the WSS platform.
The relation with the company is based on prototypes created in SketchApp and implemented through InVision and Craft.
